Josh’s Angels Foundation

Childhood Cancer Awareness Firefighter/EMS Decal Fundraiser

Josh’s Angels Foundation has created Childhood Cancer Awareness decals specifically for the Fire/EMS services. The idea for the decals was sparked after Josh’s father, a captain with Eastern Berks Fire Department, was unable to find fire service specific decals supporting Childhood Cancer Awareness during Josh’s battle with Brain Cancer.

During Josh’s visits to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, he met John Shapiro and family, who’s uncle Ed O’Hanlon, is a past Chief of the Center Square Fire Company. In addition to Josh and John’s diagnosis, Josh’s cousin Brody, son of John Moran, Chief of Perkiomen Township Fire Company, was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2010. Sadly, Josh earned his Angel Wings in January of 2011, followed by John Shapiro in August of 2011. Both boys had a great affinity and admiration for the Fire Service, and spent much time at their respective family’s fire stations.

These decals are a way to raise awareness about Childhood Cancer, a way to support families dealing with children with Cancer, and also a way to honor those children who have lost their battle with Cancer.

100% of all proceeds go to Josh’s Angels Foundation.
